I am an Award winning professional Makeup Artist with a passion for empowering women to look and feel their best. I am so excited to share my journey with you via my blog. I have been involved with all sorts of exciting events since qualifying. I truly love my work, in fact it just doesn’t feel like work at all. It is so rewarding and it is such a wonderful feeling to see how makeup can emphasise the unique inner beauty of a woman. I absolutely love to create different looks from a natural flawless look to a full on glam evening look. The reactions I get when I have created a look are so amazing. The techniques I use to highlight, contour and sculpt simply define the features of the face in such a subtle way it almost feels like you are wearing no makeup at all. The tools and products I use are carefully selected from a wide spectrum of brands. My focus is to help you feel confident, see your own beauty and to believe in yourself.

Professional Makeup Services

Bridal Makeup

The RubyLoves bridal package is unique to you. Finding the right makeup artist for your big day can be hard. A full wedding party package is offered, this includes a trial for the Bride giving the opportunity to try a variety of different looks so you feel at your most fabulous on your big day. Bridesmaids & Mother of the Bride makeup are all tailored to your specific requirements. A skin consultation is given at your trial with advice to prepare you prior to your wedding day. All makeup products that are used will be written down for you to take away at your trial. Also at the trial I will discuss the timings & finer details of your wedding preparations to ensure your day runs as smoothly and calmly as possible. When the big day arrives, I will attend your chosen venue or location. Please request at the time of booking if you require an evening presence.
Bridal Makeup - £95 including trial.
Bridesmaids - £35
Mother of the Bride - £35
Makeup Trials for Mother of the Bride/Bridesmaids - £35
A mileage charge of 50p/mile will apply if out of the Liverpool/Wirral/Warrington Area.
All bridal bookings will require a deposit of 50% of the total amount and the outstanding balance to be paid the day before the wedding.

Group Masterclass

The makeup industry is ever changing by the seasons in line with the famous fashion houses. It is essential for me to keep a keen eye on what is happening. However, the basic elements of makeup and the techniques tend to stay the same. I offer private masterclasses to groups of 10-15 people. At the masterclass I can demonstrate 2 looks on a model and will be happy to answer any makeup questions. I will show you the tips and tricks of applying your own makeup and give advice on makeup choices & tools to use. I bring my full kit and all equipment and a glass of prosecco & cupcake is provided for each guest upon arrival. These classes are always a huge success and everybody can learn a few new tricks to try for themselves.

Private One-2-One Makeup Lesson

This is a great way to really advance your makeup technique. I find it is better if you bring a model along and you can be guided to apply the makeup directly on to your model. All steps, techniques and products used will be given in a step-by-step guide ready for you to take away and practice. Topics included range from selecting the perfect foundation, mastering a flick liner, defining brows, full smokes, glitter smokes, spotlight smokes. The lesson will give you the confidence to create your own makeup look and experiment with colours.

Private Makeup Lesson - £45 (2hrs)

It is such an amazing feeling to get your makeup done for a special night out on the town, an event such as the races or your prom. Liverpool is also one of the most popular destinations to have your hen party. I can arrange to meet you at your hotel or chosen location and provide a make-over for all of your hen party. I can do fancy dress makeup, festival or themed makeup or go for a full on glamour look. Whatever you’re looking for I can accommodate your special event needs.

EYELASH & BROW TREATMENTS

I am an eyelash & brow educator with many years of experience. I offer eyelash extension treatments, Lash Lift, Brow Lamination and Brow shape & tint.

Eyelash extensions are perfectly placed onto each eyelash individually as a single extension or as a multiple lash Russian fan. They will last 3 – 6 weeks and an infill will be required after around 3 weeks. This is the perfect way to have long, beautiful lashes without the need for mascara. A full consultation is given to establish the look you want to achieve. The extensions can be applied to give more volume, length & to compliment your eye shape. The eyelash extensions are waterproof and feel just like your own lashes.

A patch test is required 48 hours before a full set can be done.

Lash Lift is a wonderful treatment to naturally lift your lashes to give a beautifully defined lash line. I call this the ‘twinkly eye’ treatment as it makes such a difference to the eyes. Together with a tint this is a fabulous treatment that has absolutely no maintenance. The results last for up to 6 weeks and the nourishing treatment ingredients help to strengthen, lengthen and volumise the lashes. This is the perfect way to have long, beautiful lashes without the need for mascara.

Lash Lift £30 • Includes tint

Brow Lamination is rapidly becoming the worlds hottest brow trend with google searches exceeding the millions. The treatment is applied to the brows and the brow hairs are placed in the desired shape. The nourishing ingredients help to strengthen and aid growth. Together with a shape & tint this truly is the brow treatment of all brow treatments!! Results last up to 6 weeks giving a totally transformational definition to the brows and a lift to the face.
